July 29, 2016: District Legal Services Authority, Dakshina Kannada, Mangaluru in association with Padua College of Commerce and Management & Western Institute of Technology organized “Vanamahothsava” in our College campus on 28th July 2016. The Vanamahothsava started with a formal program in the College Auditorium at 9.30 am. The dignitaries on the dais for this program were Our Principal Rev. Fr Alwin Serrao who presided over the program, Shri Mallana Gowd, Justice, District Legal Authority, Mangaluru, DK- inaugurated the program, Mrs Anitha Kini, Advocate, Mangaluru as the Chief Guest, Mrs Florence Mendes - the Principal of Western Institute of Technology, Mr Shridhar the NSS Co-ordinator of our College. Mrs Florence Mendes welcomed the gathering and the Vice Principal of our College Mr. Roshan Santhumayor proposed the vote of thanks. The formal program came to an end by singing the National Anthem. After the formal program all the dignitaries and NSS volunteers planted saplings in the borders of the college ground. Refreshments were provided to everyone present.
