Aug 19, 2016: Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. A Eucharistic mass was celebrated by our Principal Rev. Fr. Alwin Serrao for the Catholic students of PUC and Degree College in the Auditorium at 8.30 a.m. After the mass there was a flag hoisting ceremony to all the students (primary, high school, PUC and Degree) in the College ground. Our Correspondent Rev. Fr. Antony Serrao presided over the program and gave a wonderful message of living together in harmony and the true meaning of being independent. The Chief Guest for the program was Retired Military officer Mr. Bernard D’souza who was an old student of our Padua Primary school; he distributed the prizes to the winners of the Cross Country race held on 13th August 2016. Sweets were distributed to everyone on this happy occasion.
