Human Resource club of our College conducted a seminar on “Addiction and youth of today” on 14th July 2016 in the auditorium at 2.00 pm for the first year and second year students. The Resource persons for this seminar were Mr. Mark D’souza who gave a general introduction and explanation on the various kinds of addiction and how it effects our youth, Mr Raghavendra shared his experience as a drug addict, Mr Santhosh gave brief information regarding Alcoholic Anonymous group and its benefits, Mrs Mariet Mascarenhas gave a talk about how to deal with addicts in our families. Our Principal Rev Fr Alwin Serrao also gave a message after the seminar. The seminar was concluded by showing a power point presentation relating to the topic.
