Jan. 18, 2018: Nature is God's gift and health is the greatest wealth; keeping these two things in mind the NSS unit of our institute organized trekking for the staff and students on 29th September 2017.
The trekking took place in the heart of Charmadi Ghats. There were total 62 students and 8 faculty members who participated in this trekking. The destiny of this trekking was two peaks namely - Kodiakallu and Bhalegudda. This place is really a very beautiful place where there is no noise pollution, air pollution or any other kind of pollutions. Fresh air and the whole day we encountered fog and the beauty of nature. We were lead by the Guide Mr. Dinesh Holla who is a very renowned person and also very informative.
In the midst of the trekking we also celebrated, "Vraksha Bhandan" - a new concept introduced by our guide to protect the trees and nature. Our guide also imparted a lot of knowledge on the trekking trip. This was a very unique experience where everyone experienced a new face of nature. We came back armed with knowledge, awe for nature and also physically more fit.
