June 15, 2017: Padua College of Commerce and Management and Western Institute of Technology organized 12th Free Largest Job Fair in Padua College Campus on 19th May 2017. The inauguration of this job fair was held in Padua Auditorium at 9.30 a.m. This occasion was graced by the presence of Most Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’souza - the Bishop of Mangaluru diocese who inaugurated the program, the Chief Guest were : Rev. Fr. Antony Shera - Correspondent Padua Educational Institutions, Sri K. Abhayachandra Jain - Ex. Minister, Government of Karnataka MLA Moodbidri, Dr Ivan D’souza – Member of Legislative Council Government of Karnataka, Rev. Fr Alwin Serrao – the Principal of Padua College of Commerce and Management.
Mrs Florence Mendes – the Principal of Western Institute of Technology; hosted this program, Rev. Fr Alwin Serrao – the Principal of Padua College of Commerce and Management welcomed the gathering and Mr. Walter Stephen Mendes – President, Western Institute of Technology proposed the vote of thanks.
There were 45 companies and around 1500 candidates who participated in this job fair. This was an opportunity for both the students and companies to find what they were seeking for. This was an attempt to help the society.
