Padua College of Commerce and Management in collaboration with Padua College Alumni Association (PCAA) organised Padua Alumni League on 18th and 19th March 2023. The event took place at Padua high school ground. The inaugural program was presided over by Rev. Arun Wilson Lobo, Principal, Padua College, who in his message conveyed their ever standing support in the activities organised by Padua Alumni Association.

A total of 7 teams consisting 15 players each, participated in this league. The Principal and Vice Principal, Inaugurated the League by playing the first ball symbolising the commencement of the exciting cricket tournament. Team Padua Super Giants owned by Anil, Padua Royal Jaguars owned by Sriteja, Padua Prime owned by Preetham, Padua Vikings owned by Dhanush , Padua Articfox owned by Pranay, Padua Titans owned by Macklin, Padua Panthers owned by Akash participated in this event. The teams lead by the captains competed fiercely in the league, bringing their skill strategies and team spirit in the cricket field. It was exciting and competitive tournament.

The league came to an exhilarating conclusion on the evening of 19th March. The closing ceremony was marked by the presence of the chief guest Mr. Denis Albert Lobo, President, Padua Alumni Association. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of trophies to deserving teams and individuals. Mr Denis did the honours of presenting the winner’s trophy to the Padua Prime owned by Preetham team. The Runners Up was Padua Titans owned by Mr Maclin.

As the League came to an end it left behind memories of thrilling matches. The league created a momentous occasion by gathering the alumni, present students and faculty.
