The Eco club and Human rights club of Padua College of Commerce and Management Association with Mangalore City Police, Mangalore Traffic Wardens and JCI Mangalore, Lalbagh had organized an awareness program on traffic rules session on Tuesday 26th February 2019 at Padua College Auditorium. The chief guest for the program was Mr Harish Chandra R, Asst. Sub Inspector, Traffic East graced the occasion with his presence. Other esteemed guests present for the event were Mr Roshan Patrao, Deputy Chief Warden and other Mangalore Traffic Wardens. The gathering was welcomed by Mr Naveen, President Human Rights club.

Mr Roshan Patrao, deputy Chief Warden addressed the gathering and spoke about the needs of awareness of the traffic rules among the students and explained about the role they can play in reducing the number of accidents caused on roads. Mr Harish Chandra R, Asst Sub inspector, Traffic East presented before students certain real life accidents caused by the negligence of traffic rules and by reckless driving.

The session came to an end by having a silent prayer offered for the martyrs of Pulwama Attack . The programme was conducted for the Ist and IInd year students of the college. All the students felt that the session was really a beneficial one.
